Rin Mitchell has been an EFL teacher for over six years. She has trained and prepared her students for interviews, presentations and the TOEFL, IELTS and ICAO exams. She works with children, teens and adults to develop not only their speaking fluency, but their writing and comprehension skills. Rin lived and taught in Barcelona, Spain and Tianshui, China. Whether Rin teaches online or in a classroom, she has the ability to create a fun and engaging English learning experience. Previously, Rin worked as a freelance writer for newspapers and online blogs. She covered topics such as sports, health, beauty and politics. Rin was recognized by the Associated Press and the National Newspapers Publishers Association for her series of articles on Diabetes, Cancer, High Blood Pressure and Hypertension for the Take a Loved One to the Doctor Day Campaign published in The Seattle Medium Newspaper in September 2001. Her media background extends into television and radio as well.
Ms. Mitchell graduated from Seattle University with a BA in Journalism/Mass Communications. She is originally from Seattle, Washington, but currently resides in San Diego, California.
