Julie

Julie received her degree to teach English near Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. She currently resides in Buenos Aires, Argentina. Julie has tutored adults and teenagers in speaking and writing English as a second language. She has also worked with teenagers in Philadelphia. Her specialities include writing and grammar. Julie enjoys cooking, writing, reading, dancing, playing music, and meditation. She loves animals and developing lasting friendships.

Joe

My name is Joe and I’m 27 years old. I went to college in my home state of Colorado, where I majored in English Literature and skiing. Recently, I have returned to the US after working for a few months in Cairo, Egypt. The Great Pyramids are very cool – a must see! But, because of the troubles Egypt is having right now, I decided to come home and continue teaching English as a Second Language via Skype for LOI. I have full certification in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages as well as a lot of experience teaching inside the classroom and tutoring one-on-one. Rin

Rin Mitchell is a freelance journalist and ESL teacher. She currently teaches English to college students in China. Previously, she spent 2 years in Barcelona, Spain tutoring children, teens and adults to improve their English speaking and listening skills. Rin works to develop not only their speaking fluency, but their writing and comprehension skills. In addition, Rin has done editing for sports writers from the United States, Canada and the UK for an online sports publication. In her free time, Rin enjoys learning Spanish and Mandarin, sightseeing, visiting museums, traveling, reading, writing, playing sports and spending time with friends and family. Ms. Mitchell graduated from Seattle University with a BA in Mass Communications/Journalism.

Angela

Angela Allman is originally from northern California and has a Master’s Degree in Education, specializing in language and literacy. She has worked as a primary school teacher for two years in the U.S. and as an English teacher, living abroad for four years between Czech Republic, Indonesia and Ecuador. She also holds a TEFL Certificate and TKT Certificate. She’s an avid scuba diver and snowboarder. She adores traveling, food and wine. Currently, Angela lives in England and awaits her next big travel adventure.

Gwyn

I am an English teacher from the United States with a degree in English Language and a Cambridge CELTA certification for teaching. I have 5 years experience teaching in China, Thailand, Australia, USA and Spain. I want to help you speak English better, with fun and natural conversation classes. Hablo español.

Alice

Alice graduated with High Honors from the University of Montana in 2008. She completed her Bachelor of the Arts in English Linguistics, and received her certification for Teaching ESL. Alice speaks Spanish, and has dabbled in French, Latin, and Greek. Alice would like to travel and teach in various countries around the world. She loves hiking, bicycling, reading, cooking, and hula-hooping.

Anne

I am a native English teacher from North Carolina in the United States. I studied Spanish and French at Davidson College. I am a certified bilingual teacher. I have worked as an English teacher in the Dominican Republic, Haiti, and Buenos Aires, Argentina. I have taught ESL to refugee students in the United States, college level Spanish tutorials, and private tutoring as well. I have experience with children and adults, both in groups and individually. I like painting, being outdoors, listening to music, cooking, traveling, and watching movies. I am friendly, highly organized, and flexible.

James

James is currently completing a Master of Fine Arts in Creative Writing. Before this, he taught English to more than 1,400 middle school students in Korea. He also taught businesspeople and private students. During his time in Korea, he received specialized training and certifications in cultural practices and English teaching methods. He likes to use videos, pictures, and audio samples to enhance his classroom experience. He has studied in America, London, and Germany, and has traveled throughout Europe and Asia. James loves language, culture, and travel, and hopes he can share that experience with you to improve your English!

Teauna

Teauna is the founder of Language Over Internet, she also is a teacher and the education director for the company. She helps guide the teachers to become more effective, creates materials, and evaluates students progress and needs. Teauna graduated with her degree in Theater and Communications in 2003 from Southern Oregon University. She studied classic theater literature including American literature classics and Shakespeare. In 2008 Teauna and Paul moved to Argentina. Teauna taught English for the next three years in Argentina to adolescents and adults. She taught for traditional schools, individuals, and companies. Teauna also speaks Spanish.

Takeyce

Takeyce is a Canadian citizen who recently moved to the United States from Madrid, Spain where she worked as a certified TEFL Teacher in both American and British English for 6 years . She has taught children and adults, at all levels, and has prepared students for the PET, FCE, IELTS and TOEFL exams. She speaks Spanish and some French.

Alexa

I am a native English speaker with a B.A. in Interdisciplinary Studies of the Modern Period. English, Photography, and Spanish were my focus. Having lived all over the United States, I am familiar with regional accents: Eastern Seaboard, Southern Appalachian, Midwest, Northern, and Californian. During our conversations, I use cognitive linguistic theories to help you think and speak in a natural way. See you in class!
